Hi! I’m Grace.
I once heard someone compare UX writing to poetry—every word counts. It’s why I love what I do and the mindset that guides all of my work.
I’m a Wake Forest grad with a B.A. in art history and minors in psychology and entrepreneurship. Studying art taught me how to sift through complex ideas to communicate something meaningful. Over eight years at start-ups in the Bay Area have shaped my passion for understanding people to craft language that advocates for them.
Today, as a writer and content designer, I arm myself with user research to design digital experiences with words. The little girl in me who wanted to be a writer, designer, and psychologist is grateful to work in a field that, in some magic way, allows me to be all of them at once.
I spend my free time playing with poetry, my cameras, and my pup — ideally somewhere pretty outside or while wandering a new city. I still love a good museum day every now and then, too.
Feel free to take a look around, reach out for a copy of my resume, or just introduce yourself. I’d love to connect!
